The winter recreation is great, but summer is when Utah really shines. Take advantage of living in apartments in Pleasant Grove with these summer activities for kids and families that are right outside your door:
The Pleasant Grove Recreation Center is near your apartments in Pleasant Grove, with lots for kids to do in the summer. A few summer sports camps are still coming up in July, including basketball camps for elementary school kids, held July 10-13. For July 17-20, there’s volleyball camp for ages 7-14.
Outdoor Movie on a Hill is also there on July 14 and August 11. Pre-movie games start at 8:00 p.m., and the movies start at dusk. Check the website for updated information on what movies will be shown.
Although apartments in Pleasant Grove offer plenty of chance for water play, sometimes kids just want to be where their friends are. At the Veterans Memorial Pool, you can check into availability for swim lessons, buy a pass for the rest of the summer, or just buy a daily admission whenever the mood strikes you.
Give your kids something new to do with musical theater workshops offered by Lindon City Recreation on July 17-21, for kids ages 6-18.
Apartments in Pleasant Grove also put you near the Lindon Community Center, where the Kids’ Craft Club, for kids in kindergarten through third grade, meets every Wednesday in July from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Each class is $20. Lindon City Recreation also offers musical theater workshops for kids 6-18 on July 17-21, Brainy Brick Building (with Legos) for kids 6-12 on Wednesdays in July, a Woodworking class on Thursdays, and Tie-Dying on Wednesdays. More info on all the classes is here.
Don’t lose track of how close your apartments in Pleasant Grove put you to Utah Lake. The summer water temperatures are great and every kid loves an outing to the lake. Rent paddle boards, wave runners, kayaks, boats, and more. Go fishing. Take a hike. Or bring a picnic and enjoy an afternoon on the beach.
Then turn your back on the lake and take advantage of all the mountain recreation available to the east of your apartments in Pleasant Grove. If you think you know everything about Provo Canyon, this site from the Provo Library will prove you wrong. Burn off that summer boredom with a hike, take a scenic drive and enjoy a picnic or cookout, learn rock climbing, ride mountain bikes, go river tubing or fishing, or try a bird-watching scavenger hunt.
When you live in apartments in Pleasant Grove, you’re at the heart of some of the best recreation in America and won’t have to hear “I’m bored” all summer long.
